A leading pharmaceutical company awarded Stadler+Schaaf a contract for the planning, supply and commissioning of electrical, I&C and process control equipment for a new plant for the production of humanised antibodies for cancer therapy.
Scope of supplies and services
The contract included the detailed engineering for approximately 5,000 I&C devices, including maintaining the I&C database, as well as the supply of more than 1,000 I&C devices, the detail engineering and the supply of switchgear, remote IO systems and solenoid valve islands, installation and cabling, the pneumatic air supply of all components supplied and additional I&C equipment in the clean room area, the initial calibration of the measuring points and the installation qualification and OQ support.

GMP-compliant management of the entire project over all the phases of the project, very short project duration – a so-called "fast-track project".
Project duration
This project was completed in a period of 23 months with a total of approximately 14,000 hours of engineering and 58,000 hours of installation and commissioning.
